Three UNELTA members will deliver presentations at the 2nd Africa TESOL conference hosted by the Association of Teachers of English in Rwanda in Kigali on May 12 – 13, 2017. This year’s theme is “New Horizons in Language Teaching”.
As one the Africa TESOL objectives is to help its members to pursue professionalism in language education, Africa TESOL has proposed the theme above to allow a variety of practical presentations and workshops that will expand the English language teachers’ body of practical knowledge on current teaching methods. It is our hope that this conference will be yet another intellectual and grassroots platform for scholars and practitioners to share and discuss ideas in order to take the African ELT profession to another level.
Last year, four UNELTA members delivered similar presentations at the ATER conference which had the theme “Better Professionalism, better Performance: English teachers coming together”.
